Spicewood Country School’s preschool program, for children ages 2-5,  was designed by educators to meet the needs of the whole child. Using a multisensory approach, we guide them through the areas of human development – intellectual, emotional, physical and social – to ready them in these areas for entrance into kindergarten.

Our preschool features:

• A relaxed, happy atmosphere with a chance to experience a bit of country life and barnyard animals 

• Planned units of study, changed yearly, taught by qualified and caring teachers 

• Close communication with parents 

• Music and movement instruction 2 days a week

• Spanish classes provided on Wednesday and/or Thursday

• A daily outdoor/learning program

• Special event days and concerts 

• Teachers trained in Zoo-phonics and Learning Without Tears 

• Small classes with balanced activities and many opportunities for creativity and self-expression

2. A non-refundable fee and tuition payment at registration secures your spot 

3. Preschoolers need: 

   • Current immunization record and Admission Forms

   • Snack, lunch and drink from home 

   • Change of clothes 

   • Child-sized blanket for extended care students
