Spicewood Country School’s preschool program was designed by educators to meet the needs of the whole child. Using a multisensory approach, we guide them through the areas of human development – intellectual, emotional, physical and social – to ready them in these areas for entrance into kindergarten and first grade.
 
Our preschool features:

• A relaxed, happy atmosphere with a chance to experience a bit of country life and barnyard animals
• Planned units of study, changed yearly, taught by qualified and caring teachers
• Close communication with parents
• Daily music and movement instruction
• Special event days and concerts
• Teachers trained in Zoo-phonics and Handwriting Without Tears
• Small classes with balanced activities and many opportunities for creativity and self-expression
  

Registration for 2010/2011 preschool occurs on January 11, at 6:00 p.m.  
 

Notes:

1. Some public school holidays and bad weather days are observed (see calendar)
2. A non-refundable fee due at registration secures your spot
3. Preschoolers need:
• Current immunization record
• Snack, lunch and drink from home
• Change of clothes
• Child-sized blanket for extended care students
